AN ORDINANC~ RECOGNIZING GENERAL FUND REVENUES OF $72,500;
APPROPRIATING G~N~RAL FUND EXPENDITURES OF $257,840;
RECLASSIFYING PREVIOUSLY APPROVED EXPENDITURES WITHIN TH~ G~NERAL
FUND OF $19,350; TRANSFERRING $1,400 FROM THE G~N~RAL FUND TO THE
ASSET REPLACEMENT FUND; APPROPRIATING LAND FUND EXPENDITURES OF
$500; RbDUCING WHEELER TRANSFER TAX FUND EXPENDITURES OF $1,000;
APPROPRIATING ASSET REPLACEMENT FUND EXPENDITURES OF $1,400;
R~DUCING WATER FUND EXPENSES OF $8,500; APPROPRIATING ELECTRIC
FUND EXPENSES OF $7,200; APPROPRIATING RU~DI FUND EXPENSES OF
$4,200; APPROPRIATING GOLF COURS~ FUND EXPENSES OF $30,000;
REDUCING GOLF COURS~ FUND EXPENSES OF $1,400; RECOGNIZING ICL
GARDEN FUND R~V~NUES OF $10,500; APPROPRIATING ICE GARDEN FUND
~XP~NSES OF $8,500; REDUCING ICL GARDEN FUND EXPENSES OF $3,300;
WHeReAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHeReAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues available for appropriation
in the General Fund; Land Fund; Wheeler Transfer Tax Fund; Asset
Replacement Fund; Water Fund; Electric Fund; Ruedi Fund; Golf
Course Fund; Ice Garden Fund; and unappropriated prior year fund
balance available in the General Fund; and Golf Course Fund; and
WHeReAS, the City Council is advised that certain expendi-
tures, revenues and transfers must be approved,
NOW, THeReFORe, B~ IT ORDAINED BY TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are current
year revenues available for appropriation in the General Fund,
Land Fund, Wheeler Transfer Tax Fund, Asset Replacement Fund;
Water Fund, ~lectric Fund, Ruedi Fund; Golf Course Fund, Ice
Garden Fund, and unappropriated prior year fund balance in the
General Fund, and the Golf Course Fund, the City Council hereby
makes supplemental appropriations as itemized in ~xhibit ~A"
attached.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portion thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
day of Y~-&~-~_~__, 1989, at 5:00 p.m. in the
City Council Chamber, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
