AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING A PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TJtXES
IN ~HE ELECTRIC FUND tN THE AMOUNT OF $67,000 FOR
TRANSFER TO THE ASSETiRE~LACEMENT FUND AND EXPENDITURE
OF such FUNDS
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter~
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Electric Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain payments
and expenditures must be recognized and approved,
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are
available for appropriation in the Electric Fund, current year
revenues in excess of those previously appropriated, the
City Council hereby makes a supplemental transfer in the amount
of $67,000 to the Asset Replacement Fund and expenditure of
such funds.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or application of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the'invalid provision or appli-
cation, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 3
That a public hearing on this ordinance be bald on the
J~- day of ~ , 1982, at 5:00 P.~4.
