ORnINANCE NO.
(Series of 1982)
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,000 FROM CURRENT YEAR
UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUES IN THE LAND FUND FOR A CASH CONTRIBUTION
TO THE ASPEN CENTER FOR ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES AND APPROPRIATING
$7,000 FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUES IN THE GENERAL
FUND FOR A CASH CONTRIBUTION TO THE ASPEN COUNCIL FOR YOUTH
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Land Fund and General
Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1'
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
aOle for appropriation in the Land Fund and General Fund current
year revenues in excess of those previously appropriated, the City
Council hereby makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of
$15,000 for a cash contribution to the Aspen Center for Environ-
mental Studies rrm the Land Fund and a supplemental appropriation
in the amount of $7,000 for a cash contribution to the Aspen
County for Youth.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason ~d invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall De deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
