ORDINANCE NO. 12
(Series of 1982)
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A
CREDIT AGREEMENT, SECURITY AGREEMENT AND FINANCING
STATEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND THE BANK OF
ASPEN FOR THE INSTALLMENT PURCHASE OF A STREET SWEEPER
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into an agreement
for the installment purchase of a street sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the power to enter into long-
term installment purchase contracts pursuant to Section 10.8 of
the Charter of the City of Aspen; and
WHEREAS, a written agreement for such purpose has been nego-
tiated and prepared for approval by Council and said agreement
complies with the requirements of said Section 10.8.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that credit agreement,
security agreement and financing statement between the City of
Aspen and the Bank of Aspen for the purchase of a 1981 Ecolotec
400 Series VACU Sweep and Mack Diesel Serial Number
VGGM111B6BB013665, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of Credit Agreement: 42 monthly payments
Principal Amount Financed: $63,520.50
Monthly Payment: $1,895.01
Interst Rate: 12.80 per cent
Finance Charge: $16,069.92
Insurance and Maintenance: Responsibility of the City
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the City of Aspen).
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such

remaining portions thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
