In the matter of the incorporation of the Town of Aspen Gunnison County State of Colorado
We the undersigned petitioners respectfully represent and show unto this honorable court
that we are qualified electors of the State of Colorado and that we
are actual residents of the here in after described territory which is to be embraced in the proposed incorporation Town of Aspen
That we desire to be organized into an incorporated Town under the Laws of the State of Colorado
The Corporate name of said Town to be Aspen
That the territory to be embraced
within the limits of the proposed Town of Aspen is ??? lying
and ??? in the County of Gunnison
and State of Colorado being
the ??? or parcel of land known
as the Aspen Town Site, as
will more fully appear by the
plat therof hereto attached and
made part of this petition and
described by meets and bound as
follows to and beginning at a
stake maked corner no 1 Kings
Butte bears N 33 degrees 10' W and ???
ledge of Aspen Mountain bears
N 85 ??? hence 11/16 degrees & 1166 feet
to corner no 2 a //// Pin stump
2 feet in diameter thence Kings
Butte bears N 60 42 ??? and a
pine Stump 18 in in diameter bears
N 44 degrees 15 ' to 5 feet thence N 45 degrees to
428 feet to a stake marked corner
no 3 thence N 31 degree W 340 feet to a
stake marked corner no 4 thence
