AN ORDINANCE ADDING A P~_U_D DESIGNAte!ON
TO THE Zg~ING FOR THE GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, on March 22, 1982, the Aspen City Council did grant
final approval to an application to subdivide the Golf Course;
and
WHEREAS, as a result of various procedures necessary to per-
mit the recordation of the Golf Course Final Plat, the applicant
was unable to record the plat within 90 days of final approval, as
required by Section 20-14(e) of the Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on October 19, 1982, for
the purpose of reconsideration of the Golf Course Preliminary
Plat, the Aspen Planning and Zoning Commission did withhold action
on said plat until such time as City Council would initiate a
rezoning to add a PUD designation to the Golf Course Subdivision;
and
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting on October 25, 1982, the Aspen
Planning and Zoning Commission did grant approval to the recon-
sideration of the Golf Course Preliminary Plat, subject to the
condition that City Council add a PUD designation to the Golf
Course and submit a PUD application for review and identification
of the present use of this property.
NgW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
ASPEN, COLO DO:
Section 1
That Section 24-2.2 of the Municipal Code entitled "Zoning
District Map" is hereby amended by zoning Lot 1 of the Golf Course
Subdivision, shown on the attached Golf Course Subdivision Plat,
attached hereto and incorporated by reference, as P-Park/PUD, sub-
ject to those zoning regulations applicable to said zone district

and described in Chapter 24 of the Aspen Municipal Code (as now
exists or may hereafter be amended).
Section 2
That section 24-2.2 of the Municipal Code entitled "Zoning
District Map" is hereby amended by zoning Lot 2 of the Golf Course
Subdivision and the area adjacent to Lot 2 designated as support
to the Golf Course, shown on the attached Golf Course Subdivision
Plat, attached hereto and incorporated by reference, as P-Park/
GSC-Golf Course Support/PUD, subject to those zoning regulations
applicable to said zone district and described in Chapter 24 of
the Aspen Municipal Code (as now exists or may hereafter be
amended).
Section 3
That the City Engineer be and hereby is directed to amend the
Zoning District Map consistent with the requirements of the Aspen
Municipal code and as described in Sections 1 and 2 above.
Section 4
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
Section 5
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the ~
day of ~ ~ , 1982, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado, 15
days prior to which hearing notice of the same shall be published
once in a newspaper of general circulation within the City of
Aspen.
