Mayor Bennett called the continued meeting to order at 8:40 with Councilmembers
Waggaman and Richards present.
ORDINANCE #19, SERIES OF 1995 - Shadowwood Buy Down
City Attorney John Worcester reported that the seller backed out of the deal.
RESOLUTION #20, SERIES OF 1995 - Hines/Highlands Settlement
Dave Bellack, assistant city attorney, told Council this is the same settlement agreement
presented at the executive session Monday, March 27th. The agreement has been sent to
AWW for their comments. The agreement has been signed by Highlands and will be
signed by the Skiing Company today.
Councilwoman Waggaman moved to approve Resolution #20, Series of 1995, approving
the settlement agreement in the matter of the applications of Hines Highlands Limited
Partnership, et al., Case Nos. 93 CW 322 and 93 CW 323 in the District Court of Water
Division No. 5, State of Colorado; seconded by Councilwoman Richards. All in favor,
motion carried.
