AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A VEHICLE
LEASING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND THE FIRST NATIONAL
BANK OF GLENWOOD SPRINGS WHICH LEASE IS FOR A TERM OF THIRTY-SIX
MONTHS AND PROVIDES FOR A MONTHLY PAYMENT OF $235.42
WHEREAS, the City Council is required~ by reason of Section
10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long-term rental
agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with respect to
an outstanding agreement between the City of Aspen and The First
National Bank of Glenwood Springs,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO;
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that lease agreement
between the City of Aspen and The First National Bank of Glenwood
Springs for the lease of a 1981 Toyota 4x4 Pickup, Serial Number
JT4RN48DOB00010537, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental~ 36 months
Monthly payment; $235.42
Mileage Allowance: 15,000
Mileage Charge over Allowance. $.10
Insurance to De maintained by the City
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the City of Aspen).
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or appli-

cation~ and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
