AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE
GENERAL FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUES
IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,000.00; AND RECOGNIZING ADDITIONAL
UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE AMOUNT OF $500.00
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the General Fund~ current year revenues
in excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council here-
by makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $1,500.00
for the City's share of reroofing the City property located at 700
South Aspen Street; and $500.00 additional cost of the. Aspen
Streetscape Guidelines; and recognizing additional unanticipated
revenue of $500.00 contributed by the Pitkin County Parks Associ-
ation for its share of the co'st of the Aspen Streetscape Guide-
lines.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid ~or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
