AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN
THE WHEELER TRANSFER~TAX FUND 'FROM ~ORRENT YEAR FUND
BALANCES IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,000~00; AND TO AppRoPRIATE
AN EXPENDITURE FROM THE GENE~L FUND ~ROM CURRENT ~yEAR
FUND BALANCES IN THE MOUNT OF $3,364.00 ~
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.i2 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues 'in the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED By THE CITy COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section i
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the Wheeler Transfer Fund, current year
revenues in excess of those previously appropriated, the City
Council hereby makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of
$3,000.00 for the City's contribution to the Aspen Council of the
Arts, and upon the City Manager,s certification that there are
available for appropriation in the General Fund current year
revenues in excess of those previously appropriated, the City
Council hereby makes a supplemental appropriation in the iamount of
$3,364.00 for additional expenditures in the Communications
Department.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause~ phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and

such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
Section 3
That a public hearing be held on this ordinance on the
day of ~c~-~~-~.. , 1981, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hail, Aspen, Colorado.
