AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 62, Series of 1980,
BY ADDING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ELECTRIC FUND EXPENDITURES
IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,300.00 AND REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX FUND
EXPENDITURES IN THE ~OUNT OF $1,700.00, AND POLICE PENSION
FUND TRANSFER IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,400.00, WHICH APPROPRIATIONS
WERE INADVERTENTLY DELETED FROM SAID ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, it nas come to the attention of City Council that an
appropriation for electric fund expenditures in the amount of
$3,300.00, an appropriation for real estate transfer tax fund
expenditures zn the amount of $1,700.00, and possible appropria-
tion for state-mandated police pension fund transfers in the
amount of $15,400.00 were inadvertently deleted from the provi-
sions o£ Ordinance No. 62, Series of 1980, and
WHEREAS, it was the intention of the City Council to auth-
orize the aforesaid appropriations and possible appropriations at
the time Ordinace No. 62, Series of 1980, was passed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Ordinance No. 62,
Series of 1980, so as to accurately reflect the intention of City
Counci± with regard to the aforesaid appropriations and/or possi-
ble appropriations, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that as of the date
of the passage of Ordinance No. 62, Series of 1980, revenues and
funds in excess of those estimated in the budget were available
for appropriation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That the title of Ordinance No. 62, Series of 1980, be
amended by adding the following: "APPROPRIATING ELECTRIC FUND
EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,300.00, APPROPRIATING REAL ESTATE
TRANSFER TAX FUND EXPENDITURES IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,700.00, AND
RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves
APPROPRIATING, IF NECESSARY, STATE-MANDATED TRANSFERS FROM THE
POLICE PENSION FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,400.00".
Section 2
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 62, Series of i980, be
amended by inserting the following language after the language
"Retirement Fund expenditures in the amount of $15,000.00" and
before the language "for the purposes specified in Exhibit "A".
"Electric Fund expenditures in the amount of $3,300.00, Real
Estate Transfer Tax expenditures in the amount of
$i,700.00, and state-mandated transfers from the 'Police
Pension Fund in the amount of $15,400.00."
Section 3
That Exhibit "A" be annexed to Ordinance No. 62, series of
1980, be amended by the addition of the aforesaid apProPriations
for the purposes specified in the amended Exhibit "A" which is
annexed hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 4
If any section~ subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent 3urisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision,
and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions thereof.
Section 5
A public hearing on the ordinance snail be held on the /~/~
day of ~~?.~.~/~/ , 1981, in the City Coun-
cil Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.

the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, at its regular
