AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIAT~0N IN THE
WATER FUND FR°M CU~R~NT~EAR[UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUESIN THE
~OUNT OF $10~000.00 FOR THE WATER CONSERVATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, by virtUe of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section i
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the Water Fund, current year revenues in
excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council hereby
makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $10,000.00 for
the City's share of water conservation devices to be used for a
water conservation program.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall De deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
Section 3
That a public hearing be held on this ordinance on the/~~c~
day of /~~~'~'~.J , 1981, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, ColOrado.
