(Series of 1981)
AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE
LAND FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUES IN
THE AMOUNT OF $7,000.00, TO BE USED FOR REPAIRS TO THE
CITY HALL ROOF IN THE ~OUNT O~ $2~000.00 AND REpAIRs TO
THE CITY HALL SKYLIGHT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000.00
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Land Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved;
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO;
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the Land Fund, current year revenues in
excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council hereby
makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $7,000.00 to
be used ~or the repair of the City Hail roof in the amount of
$2,000.00 and the repair of City Hall's skylight in the amount of
$5~000.00.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent ]urisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not a~fect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
