RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ (Series of 1'981) AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLMENETAL APPROPRIATION IN THE EMPLOYEE PENSION FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUES IN THE AMOUNT OF $36,000 AND APPROPRIATING $40,000 IN THE COLORADO POLICE PENSION FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED RESERVES WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule. Charter, the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has unappropriated current year revenues in the Employee Pension Fund and the Colorado Police Pension Fund; and WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain expendi- tures must be recognized and approved, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail- able for appropriation in the Employee Pension Fund and: the Colo- rado Police Pension Fund current year revenues in excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council hereDy makes a supple- mental appropriation in the amount of $36,000 for the C;ity k~m- ployee Pension Fund and $40,000 in the Colorado Police Pension Fund · Section 2 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not a~fect other provisions or application of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or appli- cation, and to this end the provisions of this ordinanCe are declared to be severable.
