AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE WATER FUND
FROM CURRENT YEAR FUND BALANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $2~900.00 TO BE
USED FOR OFFICE EQUIPMENT AND THE COST OF SALARY FOR A UTILITIES
TECHNICIAN FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS YEAR
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the Water Fund, current year revenues in
excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council hereby
makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $2,900.00to be
used for office equipment and the cost of salary for a Utilities
Technician for the remainder of this year.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
