ORDINANCE NO.
(Series of 1981)
AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE
WATER FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED REVENUES IN
THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00, AND A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION
IN THE ELECTRIC FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED
REVENUES IN THE AMOUNT OF $7,500.00
WHEREAS, Dy virtue of Section 9.12 of t~]e Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section i
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the Water Fund and Electric Fund, cur-
rent year revenues in excess of those previously appropriated, the
City Council hereby makes a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $15,000.00 for the cost of a feasibility study of raw
water storage and hydro-electric potential in the Castle Creek and
Maroon Creek valleys.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance.is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining pot-
tions thereof.

A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the ~'~'
daY of November, 1981, at 5'00 P.M. in the City Council ChamberS,
Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.

October 1981.
