ORDINANCE NO. ~

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $832,000 FROM CURRENT YEAR
UNAPPROPRIATED WATER FUND REVENUES FOR THE WATER
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AND RECOGNIZING UNANTICIPATED
REVENUES OF $11,000 IN THE WATER FUND
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Councii may make supplemental appropriations7 and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Water Fund~ and
WHEREAS~ the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~i'HE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certificatiOn that there are avail-
able for appropriation in the Water Fund, current year revenues in
excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council hereby
makes a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $832,000 for
the Water Management Construction Program to be incurred this
year~ and recognizes additional unanticipated revenue of $11,000
in the Water Fund in the form of a State grant £or the Water
Flouridat ion Plant.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional in a court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall
be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and shall
not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.

A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, C6iorado.
