AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE GENERAL
FUND FROM CURRENT YEAR BALANCES IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,000
W~iEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year Fund Balance in the General Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain expendi-
tures must be recognized and approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation current year Fund Balance in excess of
those requested herein, the City Council hereby makes a supple-
mental appropriation in the amount of $12,000 from unappropriated
current year Fund Balance in the General Fund for additional audit
expenses ·
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the applicatiOn thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or application of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or appli-
cation, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 3
That a public hearing be held on this ordinance on the~F
day of ~ , 1981, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen,~ C~lorado.
