AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING A PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES~FROM
THE ELECTRIC FUND IN THE A~OUNT OF $59,257vTO THE ASSET
REPLACEMENT FUND

WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule Charter,
the City Council may make supplemental appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that the City has
unappropriated current year revenues in the Electric Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain payments
and expenditures must be recognized and approved,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
aDle for appropriation in the Electric Fund, current year renveues
in excess of those previously appropriated, the City Council here-
by makes a supplemental4appr°priati°n in the amount of $59,257 for
the Asset Replacement Fund.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or application of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or appli-
cation, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are ..... ~
declared to be severaDle.
Section 3
That a public hearing be held on this ordinance on the~~
day o~ ~ , 1981, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, C°lorado.

ASSET REPDACEMENT FUND
At the request of the City Manager, items previously listed for the General
Fund - Asset Replacement Fund, have been prio~tized for purchase in 1981. Some
items previously listed have been dropped since surplus operating money was
realized within some departments'budgets.
