ORDINANCE NO.
(Series of 1976)
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF SIX VEHICLE LEASING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ASPEN AND DICK WHEELER, iNC.; WHICH LEASES
ARE EACH FOR A TERM OF 24 MONTHS AND PROVIDE FOR
MONTHLY RENTAL PAYMENTS (IDENTIFIED BY VEHICLE
NUMBER) AS FOLLOWS: (1) T-229, $141.90, (2) T-256,
$167.98, (3) T-240, $133.00, (4) T-242, $136.00,
(5) T-241, $155.10, (6) T-243, $137.70
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of
Section 10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long term
rental agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with
respect to six such outstanding agreements between the City of
Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
Number T-229, providing for the leasing of a 1975 Chevrolet Fleet-
side Pick Up, Hodel CK 10703, Serial Number CKY145J148350, under
the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 24 months
Monthly rental: S141.90
Mileage Allowance: 15,000 miles per year
Mileage Charge over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $100.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $300,000/$100,000
Property Damage: $50,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the City of Aspen).

Section 2
That it does ratify and approve that vehicle lease
agreement between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
Number T-256, providing for the leasing of a 1977 Chevrolet 3/4
ton 4X4 Pick Up, Model CK 20903, Serial Number CKL247Z100041,
with electric winch, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of Rental: 24 months
Monthly rental: $167.98
Mileage Allowance: 15,000 miles per year
Mileage Charges over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $100.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $100,000/$300,000
Property damage: $50,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).
Section 3
That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement (closed end) between the City of Aspen and Dick
Wheeler, Inc., ~umber T-240, providing for the leasing of a 1976
Chevrolet Fleetside Pick Up Truck, Model CK10903, Serial Number
CKL146F349390, under the following conditions:
Term of rental: 24 months
Monthly rental: $133.00
Mileage Allowance: N/A
Mileage Charges over Allowance: N/A
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $100.00 deductible
Public liability limits: $100,000/$300,000
Property damage: $50,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).

That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement (closed end) between the City of Aspen and Dick
Wheeler, Inc., Number T-242, providing for the leasing of a 1976
Chevrolet 3/4 ton utility truck, Model CC20903, Serial Number
CCT236J126608, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 24 months
Monthly rental: $136.00
Mileage allowance: 15,000 miles per year
Mileage Charges over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $100.00 deductible
Public Liability limit: $100,000/$300,000
Property damage: $50,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).

?hat it does hereby ratify and affirm that vehicle
lease agreement (closed end) between the City of Aspen and Dick
Wheeler, Inc., Humber T-241, providing for the leasing of a 1976
Chevrolet Fleetside Pick Up Truck, Model CK20903, Serial Number
CKL246F35453, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 24 months
Monthly rental: $155.10
Mileage Allowance: 15,000 miles per year
Mileage Charges over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $100.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $100,000/$300,000
Property Damage: $50,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director
of Finance of the City of Aspen).

?hat it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement (closed end) between the City of Aspen and Dick
Wheeler, inc., Number T-243, providing for the leasing of a 1976
Chevrolet Pick Up Truck, Model Number CK10703, Serial Number
CKD146J134106, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 24 months
Monthly rental: $137.70
Mileage Allowance: 15,000 miles per year
Mileage Charges over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained:
Collision: $100.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $100,000/$300,000
Property damage: $50,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).
Section 7
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid pro-
vision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 8
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held
on ~ ~ , 1976, at 5:00 P.~. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
