HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.017-75RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. ~ (Series of 1975) AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $80,000.00 OF pREVIOUSLY UNAPPROPRI- ATED 6TH PENNY SALES TAX REVENUES FOR CITY HALL RESTORATION AND REPAIR EXPENSE FOR THE 1975 BUDGET YEAR WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the restoration of City Hall is an appropriate expenditure for the year 1975, and WHEREAS, ordinance No. 15-A, Series of 1972, authorizes the use of the 6th penny sales tax proceeds for the construction of capital improvementS and the city Council wishes to provide for the city Hall restoration and repairs from said sales tax proceedS; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 That Eighty Thousand ($80,000.00) Dollars be appropri- ated to City Hall restoration and repair as follows: Sixth Penny Sales Tax Fund Appropriations Expenditure Revenues $80,000.00 Unappropriated 6th Penny Sales Tax Revenues $80,000.00 Section 2 if any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid pro- visions or applications , and to this end the provisions or RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
