AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING A LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN
AND HARALD PABST FOR THE LEASING OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF
LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL IMPOUND
LOT; REQUIRING THE PAYMENT OF $125.00 PER MONTH FOR SUCH
LEASEHOLD; .AND PROVIDING FOR A LEASE TERM OF THREE (3)
YEARS SUBJECT TO EARLIER TERMINATION IN THE EVENT OF THE
SALE OF THE PREMISES.
[~HEREAS, the City of Aspen and Harald Pabst have
agreed to the terms of a lease for the establishment of a
municipal impound lot, and Section 9.13(b) of the Aspen
Home Rule Charter requires ratification by ordinance of any
lease providing for payments beyond the end of the fiscal
year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that certain
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Harald Pabst
for the establishment of a municipal impound lot, which in-
strument is attached hereto and incorporated by this reference
as if recited verbatim.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions or

applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on the
