(Series of 1975)
AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING A LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN,
COLORADO, AND PANSING PONTIAC FOR THE USE OF FOUR (4) SAAB
VEHICLES BY THE ASPEN POLICE DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE
PAYMENT OF A RENTAL OF SIXTY-FIVE ($65.00) DOLLARS PER MONTH
PER VEHICLE; AND FURTHER PROVIDING FOR A RENTAL PERIOD OF
ONE (1) YEAR
WHEREAS, the City of Aspen, Colorado, and Pansing
Pontiac, Inc. of Littleton, colorado, have agreed to the
terms of a lease for the rental ~ four (4) patrol cars, and
Section 9.13 of the Aspen Home Rule Charter requires ratific-
ation by ordinance of any lease providing for payments beyond
the end of the fiscal year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that certain
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Pansing Pontiac,
Inc., which instrument is attached hereto and incorporated by
this reference as if recited verbatim.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions or
applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.

A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on
