AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ENTRY INTO AN AGREEMENT BY THE CITY
OF ASPEN WITH THE AIRPORT AUTO CENTER FOR THE PROVISION OF TOWING
SERVICES; REQUIRING TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOUR TOW SERVICE BEGINNING
APRIL 14, 1975, REQUIRING ITEMIZATION OF BILLING; PRESCRIBING
CHARGES TO BE ASSESSED; REQUIRING INDEMNIFICATION OF THE CITY
AGAINST CLAIMS FOR LOSSES INCURRED AS A RESULT OF THE SERVICES
RENDERED
WEEREAS, the City of Aspen has accepted a bid for tow-
ing services and wishes to authorize execution of a contract for
such services and do so by ordinance as required by Section 9.13
of the Aspen Home Rule Charter,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that certain
towing service agreement between the City of Aspen and Airport
Auto Center (which instrument is attached hereto and incorporated
by this reference as if recited verbatim), and direct the execution
of the same by the Mayor, Stacy Standley III.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalid-
ity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the
ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions
or applications, and to this end the provisions or applications of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
