ORDINANCE NO.
(Series of 1975)
AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING TEN THOUSAND ($10,000.00) DOLLARS
RECEIVED FROM PITKIN coUNTY, COLORADO, AND APPROPRIATING SAID
AMOUNT, PLUS AN ADDITIONAL NINETEEN THOUSAND ($19,000.00)
DOLLARS OF SEVENTH PENNY SALES TAX REVENUES, FOR OPERATION OF
THE MINIBUS SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the city Council wishes to recognize receipt
of Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) Dollars from the Pitkin county
Commissioners and appropriate this amount and additional sums
for operation of the city bus system,
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY cOUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That there be appropriated Twnety-Nine Thousand
($29,000.00) Dollars for the operation of the minibus system
as follows:
Transportation Department
Appropriation

Contribution from Pitkin County

Unappropriated Seventh Penny
Sales Tax Revenues

Leaving a balance of Forty Six Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Three
($46,683.00) Dollars in unappropriated Seventh Penny Sales Tax
Revenues.
Section 2
if any provision of this ordinance or the application

thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions or
applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on
the ~ day of ~, 1975, at 1:00 P.M. in the city
Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by law by
the city Council of the City of Aspen, at its regular meeting
