HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.061-75RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves oRD ' ANcs NO. & / (Series of 1975) AN ORDINANCE REZONING THE SITE OF THE 700 HOPKINS AVENUE APARTMENT TO RESIDENTIAL R-6 WHEREAS, the Aspen City Council has recently annexed a small tract of land on part of which rests the 700 Hopkins Avenue Apartments and the City Council wishes to complete its annexation pro- cedures by rezoning said parcel R-6, identical to adjacent tracts with- in the City, NOW, CITY OF ASPEN, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE COLORADO: Section 1 That the following described tract situate in Pitkin County, Colorado, be and hereby is zoned R-6 Residential, to wit: A tract of land situated in the SE¼ of Sec. 12, T10S, R85W of the 6th P.M., Pitkin County, colorado, and being part of the Mary B. No. 2 lode mining claim, survey no. 19640, said tract is more fully described as follows: Beginning at a point on line 7-8 Aspen Townsite, be- ing also on the Westerly line of Sixth Street whence the northeast corner of Lot S, Block 19, City of Aspen bears N.14°50'49" E. 91.00 feet; thence N.55°18'18'' W. 95.68 feet along said line 7-8 to a point on the West- erly line of said Lot Q said Block 19; thence S.14° 50'49" W. 41.49 feet along the Southerly extension of the Westerly line of said Lot Q to a point on the extension of the Northerly line of West Hopkins Avenue; thence S.75°09'11'' E. 90.00 feet along said extension of the Northerly line of West Hopkins Avenue to a point on the extension of the Westerly line of Sixth Street; thence N.14°50'49" E. 9.00 feet along said extension of Sixth Street to the point of beginning containing 2272 square feet more or less. Section 2 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions or applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
