HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.101-75RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. /O/ (Series of 1975) AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FOURTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETEEN ($14,619.00) DOLLARS FROM THE 1967 STREET ASSESSMENT FUND FOR BOND AND COUPON REDEMPTION; AND DECLARING THAT AN EMERGENCY EXISTS RE- QUIRING IMMEDIATE ADOPTION OF THE SAME WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain amounts must be appropriated for bond and coupon redemption within the 1967 Street Assessment Fund, and be appropriated before the end of this calendar year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 That there be appropriated from the unappropriated fund balance of the 1967 Street Assessment Fund the amount of Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred Nineteen 67-1 Street Assessment Fund Unappropriated Surplus Bond Redemption Coupon Redemption Section 2 ($14,619.00) Dollars, as follows: Appropriation Revenues Expenditures $~,619.00 $ 14,000.00 619.00 $14,619.00 14,619.00 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions or applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable. pection 3 That it is hereby declared that an emergency exists requir- ing the immediate adoption of this ordinance inasmuch as all budget RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ordinances for 1975 revenues or expenditures must be fully approved by the City's governing body before the end of the calendar year; that this ordinance be approved only by the unanimous vote of councilmen present or a vote of five councilmen, whichever is less; that this ordinance be passed at two meetings of council; that neither a public hearing nor first publication be required; that this ordinance be published within ten (10) days after final passage, and that it take effect upon final passage.
