AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND ($700,000.00)
DOLLARS FROM ELECTRICAL REVENUE BOND PROCEEDS FOR UNDERGROUNDING
OF THE CITY'S OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL FACILITIES

?~{EREAS, simultaneously with consideration of this
appropriation ordinance the City Council is proceeding with the
issuance of certain revenue bonds to be repaid from electric
utility revenues, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appropriate from
such proceeds revenues to underground the City's overhead wires
purusant to its agreement with Mountain Bell Telephone and
Telegraph Company for joint undergrounding of its facilities,
~IOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That there shall be transferred into and appropriated
from the Electrical Fund the amount of Seven Hundred Thousand
($700,000.00) Dollars, as follows:

If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or

applications, and to this end the provisions or applications of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on
theE day of ~z~+~ 'c_~_~ , 1976, at 5:00 P.~. in the City
Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.

law by the City Council of the City of Aspen, at its regular
