HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.026-76RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. o~ (Series of 1976) AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING $500.00 OF UNANTICIPATED REVENUES TO THE 7TH PENNY SALES TAX FUND; AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING FROM THE UN- APPROPRIATED REVENUES OF SUCH FUND MONIES FOR THE FINAL PURCHASE PAYMENT OF THE MINIBUSES, MALL LABOR, PUBLIC RELATIONS COSTS AND COSTS OF EXTRA BUS SERVICE WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are available for appropriation 7th Penny Sales Tax Revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget and the City Council, by virtue of Section 9.12(a) of the Home Rule Charter, may make supplemental appropriations for the year up to an amount of such excess, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appropriate such excess revenues in the following manner, ~OW, THEREFORE, DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 That there be appropriated from the unappropriated 7th Penny Sales Tax Revenues the sum of Seventy-Six Thousand Nine Hundred ($76,900.00) Dollars, as follows: 7th Penny Sales Tax Fund Unappropriated Sales Tax Revenues Payment to City from Mining Co. for Removal of Mall Structure Mini Bus Lease Purchase Payoff Transportation Department Public Relations Mall Sweeper Transportation Department Additional Bus Runs (lunch and dinner hours, Art Festival, IDCA conference, Historical Society) Labor for Removal of Mining Co. Structure Appropriation Revenues Expenditures $ 76,400.00 $ 65,000.00 500.00 500.00 8,900.00 2,000.00 Two Thousand, Three Hundred Twenty Eight ($182,328.00) Dollars. leaving unappropriated 7th Penny Sales Tax Revenues of One Hundred Eighty $ 76,900.00 $76,900.00 500.00 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Leaves Section 2 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalid- ity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provisions or applications, and to this end the provisions of applications of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
