HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.021-77RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. ~ (Series of 1977) AN ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING UNANTICIPATED REVENUES OF $17,300 FROM THE STATE HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING FROM SUCH FUNDS AND FROM THE SIXTH PENNY SALES TAX FUND AND FROM PARK DEDICATION FEES $4,300 FOR GOLF COURSE STUDIES; $34,000 FOR THE WHEELER OPERA HOUSE; $7,500 FOR THE HOLY CROSS BUILDING TASK FORCE BUDGET AND $4,300 FOR WAGNER PARK (SOD) WHEREAS, the City Manager has advised the City Council that there are available unanticipated revenues from the State Historical Society in the amount of $17,300, and WHEREAS, the City Manager has additionally advised the City Council that there are available in the Sixth Penny Sales Tax Fund and Fess, and for appropriation $24,800 $8,800 from Park Dedication ~EREAS, the City Council wishes to authorize expen- ditures from the same, i~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 That the above listed revenues be recognized and appro- priated in the following manner: Golf Course Studies Wheeler Opera House Holy Cross Building - Task Force Budget Wagner Park (Sod) Unappropriated Revenues Revenues $17,300 $17,300 33,600 $50,900 Expenditures $4,300 34,600 7,500 4,500 $50,900 $50,900 leaving unappropriated revenues for the current year of $152,723. Section 2 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 3 A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on ~[w~ ~ , 1977, at 5:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
