ORDINANCE NO. ~.
(Series of 1977)
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF TWO VEHICLE LEASING AGREEMENTS:(1) BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ASPEN AND PANSING PONTIAC, INC., AND
(2) BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND HANSON EQUIPMENT,
INC., ~HICH LEASES ARE EACH FOR A TERM OF 12 MONTHS
AND PROVIDE FOR MONTHLY RENTAL PAYMENTS OF $160.00
FOR EACH VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the city Council is required, by reason of
Section 10.3 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long term
rental agreementS by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with
respect to two such outstanding agreementS, one between the
City of Aspen and Pansing Pontiac, Inc., and the other between
the City of Aspen and Hanson Equipment, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Pansing Pontiac,
Inc. providing for the leasing of a 1977 Saab 99GL/5dr, Serial
Number 99776009966 and of a 1977 Saab 99GL/5dr, Serial Number
99776010906, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 12 months
Monthly rental: $160.00 (each)
Mileage Allowance: 18,000 miles per year
Mileage Charge over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
collision: $500.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $500,000/$250,000
Property damage: $100,000
and such other common contract provision as are specified in the
agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance
of the city of Aspen).

following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 12 months
Monthly rental: $160.00 (each)

Collision: $500 deductible
Public liability limit: $500,000/$250,000
Property damage: $100,000

Section 3

If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid pro-
vision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held
