HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.040-77RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves (Series of 1977) AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A XEROX STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT EQUIPMENT EQUITY PLAN (INSTALLMENT PURCHASE AGREEMENT) BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND XEROX CORPORATION WHICH AGREEMENT IS FOR A TERM OF THIRTY-SIX (36) MONTHS AND PROVIDES FOR MONTHLY PAYMENTS OF $58.50 WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of Section 10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long term installment purchase agreements by ordinance, and its wishes to do so with respect to an outstanding agreement between the City of Aspen and Xerox Corporation, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 That it does hereby ratify and approve that installment purchase agreement between the City of Aspen and Xerox Corporation providing for the purchase of a Xerox 660-I under the following terms and conditions: Term of installment purchase agreement: 36 months Monthly payments: $58.58 and such other common contract provisions as are specified in the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of Finance of the City of Aspen). Section 2 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
