AN ORDINANCE REDUCING THE APPROPRIATION FOR
ELECTRICAL SUBSTANTIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $115,000.00;
MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,500.00 FROM EXCESS ELECTRIC FUND REVENUES FOR
1977 PAYMENTS ON HYDRA-LIFT TRUCKS AND TRANSFERRING
$57,650.00 FROM THE ELECTRIC FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are
available for appropriation revenues in excess of those
estimated in the electric fund budget, and
WHEREAS, by virtue of section 9.12(a) of the Home Rule
Charter, the City Council by ordinance may make supplemental
appropriations for the year up to the amount of such excess,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That appropriations for electrical substantions be reduced
by $115,000.00; that appropriations for 1977 payments on
hydra-lift trucks be increased by $5,500.00 and that $57,650.00
be transferred from the electric fund to the general fund.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on this ordinance shall be held on
, 1977, at 1:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
