AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN
THE AMOUNT OF $57,650.00 FROM EXCESS REVENUES IN THE
ELECTRIC FUND AND APPROPRIATING $57,650.00 FOR THE
MATCHING SHARE OF COLORADO STATE HIGHWAY GRANT FOR
HIGHWAY 82 STORM DRAINS
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are
available for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated
in the budget, and
WHEREAS, by virtue of Section 9.12(a) of the Home Rule
Charter, the City Council by ordinance may make supplement
appropriations for the year up to the amount of such excess,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That there be recognized additional revenues of
in the general fund, and that $57,650.00 be
such fund as follows:

Matching share of Colorado State
Highway grant for Highway 82 storm
drains
Transfer from Electric Fund $57,650.00
leaving $6,845.00 in unappropriated revenues from such fund.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provision of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.

Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on
August 8, 1977, at 1:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers,
City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by
law by the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado at its
regular meeting held at the City of ASpen on the 25th day of
July 1977.
