AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 57,
SERIES OF 1977, BY PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINT-
MENT OF TWO (2) ALTE~ATE MEMBERS OF THE MALL
CO~IMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Ordinance No. 57,
Series of 1977, for the benefit of the City of Aspen,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That Section 2(a) of Ordinance No. 57, Series of 1977,
is hereby deleted and reenacted to provide as follows:
(a) The Mall Commission shall consist of seven
(7) regular members and two (2) alternate
members.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of the
ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on
~ ~.~ , 1978, at 5:00 P.M. in the
City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
