ORDINANCE NO. ~--

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF A LEASING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN
AND ELDER, QUINN & McGILL, INC.
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of
Section 10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long term
rental agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with
respect to an outstanding agreement between the City of
Aspen and Elder, Quinn & McGill, Inc.,
:IOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Elder, Quinn &
McGill, Inc. providing for the leasing of two (2) 1978 Blue Bird
All-American Model AAFC3502 buses, body numbers F40217 and
F40218, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 60 months
Monthly rental: $4,290.00 per three months
Insurance to be maintained by the City
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
