AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7-141(s) (AMENDMENTS
TO UNIFORM BUILDING CODE) BY THE ADDITION OF
R-3 BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES TO SECTION 5302
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the city Council wishes to amend Section 7-141(s)
of the Municipal Code for the benefit of the City of Aspen,
i~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That Section 7-141(s), Subsection 5302, is hereby deleted
and reenacted to read as follows:
"Sec. 5302 Application and Scope. This section
shall apply to all buildings and structures in use
Groups A (assembly) , E (educational) , I (institutional) ,
B (business), R-1 (hotels and apartments), R-3 (one
and two family dwelling)."
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the aplication thereof
to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity
shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or appli-
cation, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are
declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on
1978, at 5:00 P.M. in the city
Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by law
by the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, at its
regular meeting held at the City of Aspen on the ~ day of
