HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.017-78RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves ORDINANCE NO. ~_~ (Series of 1978) AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FROM UNAPPROPRIATED CURRENT YEAR TRANSFERS AND PRIOR YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND SURPLUS IN THE AMOUNT OF $70,600.00 WHEREAS, upon request of the City Manager the Council may transfer any unencumbered appropriation balance from one department, office, agency or object to another; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are available for appropriation revenues in the General Fund in excess of those estimated in the budget; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Aspen wishes to transfer $49,300.00 from the Land Fund and Transportation Fund to the General Fund; and ~EREAS, the City Council wishes to make a supplemental appropriation from the General Fund in the amount of $70,$00.00, ~[OW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 $44,300.00 from the unencumbered appropriation balance in the Land Fund and $5,000.00 from the unencumbered appropriation balance in the Transportation Fund is hereby transferred to the General Fund. Section 2 $70,600 of excess General Fund revenues priated for the following purposes: are hereby appro- Playing Field and Landscaping $35,800 Pride in Aspen Campaign 17,000 Parking Improvements - Rio Grande 5,000 Environmental Health - Dept. Head Salary 5,000 Juvenile Grant - Matching Funds 3,000 Moore Pool - ~oiler Repairs 1,800 City Hall Repairs 3,000 $70,600 RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves Section 3 If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 4 A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on  __/'~ 1978, at 5:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
