ORDINANCE NO. 21
(Series of 1978)
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE MUNICIPAL WATER
UTILITY TRANSMISSION LINES BEYOND CITY
BOUNDARIES
WHEREAS, Section 11.3 of the Charter of the City of Aspen
requires that if the Council desires to extend the municipal
water utility transmission lines beyond city boundaries, it
shall do so by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to extend the municipal
water utility lines to the property described in Section 1
below:
~OW, THEREFORE, JE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That the municipal water utility transmission lines may
be extended to the following described property beyond city
boundaries:
A parcel of land situated in the North one-half of
the Southwest one-quarter and in Lot 4 of Section 6,
Township 10 South, Range 84 West of the 6th P.~I.,
and in the Northeast one-quarter of the Southeast
one-quarter of Section 1, Township 10 South, Range
85 West of the 6th P.~., described as follows:
JEGINNING at a point whence the Southwest corner of
said Section 6 being the same as the Southeast corner
of said Section 1 bears South 40052'00''

less, to the Point of Beginning.

Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on

City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, colorado.
