AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF THREE VEHICLE LEASI~G AGREEmeNTS BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ASPEN AND PANSING PONTIAC, INC. I~HICH
LEASES ARE EACH FOR A TE~{ OF 12 MONTHS AND PROVIDE
FOR A MONTHLY RENTAL PAYMENT OF $165.00 FOR EACH
VEHICLE AND FOUR VEHICLE LEASING AGREEMENTS
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND PANSING PONTIAC, INC.
~HICH LEASES ARE EACH FOR A TERM OF 12 MONTHS AND
PROVIDE FOR A MONTHLY RENTAL PAYMENT OF $185.00
FOR EACH VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of
Section 10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long-term
rental agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with
respect to seven such outstanding agreements between the
City of Aspen and Pansing Pontiac, inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does hereby ratify and approve those vehicle
lease agreements between the City of Aspen and Pansing Pontiac,
Inc. providing for the leasing of a 1978 Saab 99GL/2-Dr.,
Serial Number 99787001264, a 1978 Saab 99GL/2-Dr., Serial
Number 99787001258, and a 1978 Saab 99GL/2-Dr., Serial
Number 99787001262, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 12 months
Monthly rental: $165.00 (each)
Mileage Allowance: 18,000 miles per year
Mileage Charge over Allowance: $.10 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
collision: $1,000.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $500,000/$250,000
Property damage: $100,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).

Serial Number 99781018207, a 1978 Saab 99GL/5-Dr., Serial
Number 99781018390, a 1978 Saab 99GL/5-Dr., Serial Number
99781019523, and a 1978 Saab 99GL/5-Dr., Serial Number
99781015341, under the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 12 months
Monthly rental: $185.00 (each)
Mileage Allowance: 18,000 miles per year
Mileage Charge over Allowance: $.10 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
collision: $1,000.00 deductible
Public liability limit: $500,000/$250,000
Property Damage: $100,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director
of Finance of the City of Aspen).
Section 3
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on

Council Chambers, Aspen city Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by
law by the City Council of the city of Aspen, Colorado, at
its regular meeting held at the City of Aspen, Colorado, on
