AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF THREE VEHICLE LEASING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE
CITY OF ASPEN AND DICK WHEELER, INC.; WHICH
LEASES PROVIDE FOR TERMS AND MONTHLY RENTAL
PAYMENTS (IDENTIFIED BY VEHICLE NUMBER) AS
FOLLOWS: (1) T-309, $121.00 FOR 36 MONTHS;
(2) T-330, ~118.09 FOR 24 MONTHS; AND L-9159,
$157.90 FOR 24 MONTHS
WHEREAS, the City Council is required, by reason of
Section 10.8 of the home rule charter, to ratify all long
term rental agreements by ordinance, and it wishes to do so with
respect to three such outstanding agreements between the City
of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
~W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
?hat it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
Number T-309, providing for the leasing of a 1978 Chevrolet
Pickup, i~odel CK10903, Serial Number CKL148J130947, under
the following terms and conditions:
Term of rental: 36 months
Monthly rental: 3121.00
Mileage Allowance: 15,000 miles per year
Mileage Charge over Allowance: $.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $1,000.~0 deductible
Public liability: $300,~00/$300,000
Property Damage: $300,~00
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office o£ the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).

That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
Number T- 330, providing for the leasing of a 1978 Chevrolet
Pickup, Model CK10703, Serial Number CKD148F422624, under
the following terms and conditions:

Monthly rental: $118.99
Mileage allowance: 10,000 miles per year
Mileage Charge over Allowance: ~.05 per mile
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $1,000.00 deductible
Public liability: $300,900/$300,000
Property Damage: $300,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).

That it does hereby ratify and approve that vehicle
lease agreement between the City of Aspen and Dick Wheeler, Inc.,
Number L-9189, providing for the leasing of a 1979 Chevrolet
Serial Number CGD2590 121659, under the following terms
and
conditions:
Term of rental:
Monthly rental:
24 months
$157.00
No Mileage Allowance
Insurance to be maintained by the City:
Collision: $1,000.00 deductible
Public liability: $300,000/$300,000
Property damage: $300,000
and such other common contract provisions as are specified in
the agreement itself (on file in the office of the Director of
Finance of the City of Aspen).

If any provision of
thereof to any person or
this ordinance or the application
circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 5
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on
