ORDINANCE NO.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ASPEN MUNICIPAL
CODE BY REPEALING SECTION 13-25 WHICH
PROHIBITS LEWD OR LASCIVIOUS SPEECH OR
BEHAVIOR IN PUBLIC
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Aspen
Municipal Code by the deletion of Section 13-25,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
~hat Section 13-25 of the Aspen Municipal Code is hereby
repealed.
Section 2
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of
this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on

City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
