AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL
APPROPRIATION IN THE 6TH PENNY SALES
TAX FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $63,700.00
FROM CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED SALES
TAX REVENUES AND APPROPRIATING EXPENDITURES
OF $63,700.00 FOR MISCELLANEOUS 6TH PENNY
SALES TAX FUND EXPENDITURES
WHEREAS, by virture of Section 9.12 of the Home Rule
Charter, the City Council may make supplemental
appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are
available for appropriation $63,700.00 current year
unappropriated sales tax revenues in excess of those
anticipated in the budget; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are
available for appropriation revenues in excess of those
estimated in the budget, the City Council hereby makes a
supplemental appropriation of current year unappropriated
sales tax revenues in the 6th Penny Sales Tax Fund and
appropriating expenditures in the amount of $63,700.00 for
the purposes specified on the attached Exhibit #A".
Section 2
For the purpose of budgetary control the $39,000.00
appropriated and recognized as an expenditure for park
improvements shall be transferred to the General Fund.
RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Section 3
If any provision of this ordinance or the application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the
invalid provision or application, and to this end the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4
That a public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on
