HomeMy WebLinkAboutordinance.council.033-79RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ORDINANCE NO.~_~__ (Series of 1979) AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,400.00 FROM THE CURRENT YEAR UNAPPROPRIATED SALES TAX REVENUES, RECOGNIZING A $7,500.00 CONTRIBUTION, RECOGNIZING A TRANSFER OF $39,000.00 FROM THE 6th PENNY SALES TAX FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND AND APPROPRIATING $60,900.00 IN MISCELLANEOUS GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES. WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that available for appropriation revenues in excess of estimated in the budget; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are those the City has recognized an unanticipated, additional $7,500.00 in revenues in the form of a contribution from Pitkin County; and WHEREAS, for the purpose of budgetary control $39,000.00 has been transferred from the 6th Penny Sales Tax Fund to the General Fund, WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues and expenditures must be recognized and approved. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO: Section 1 Upon the City Manager's certification that there are available for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in the budget, the City Council hereby makes a supplemental appropriation of Current Year Unappropriated Sales Tax Revenues in the amount of $14,400.00, of unappropriated revenues in the amount of $7,500.00, and of transferred 6th Penny Sales Tax Fund revenues in the amount of $39,000.00 for the purposes specified on the attached Exhibit "A". RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Section 2. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 3. That a public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on ~ ~ , 197~, at ~ P.M. in the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
