AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24-3.2 OF THE ASPEN MUNICIPAL CODE
BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW R-15-A ZONE DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTION
24-3.4 SUCH THAT ALL AREA AND BULK REQUIREMENTS OF R-15 SHALL
APPLY IN THE R-15-A ZONE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Sections 24-3.2
and 24-3.4 of the Aspen Municipal Code by the addition of a new
R-15-A zone district for the benefit of the City of Aspen,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That Section 24-3.2 of the Aspen Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition of an R-15-A zone district as follows:

that two family
dwellings shall be
allowed only if 50%
of the units (one
unit) is restricted to
low, moderate or middle
income price range pur-
suant to adopted price
guidelines
Section 2
That Section 24-3.4 of the Aspen Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition of a new R-15-A zone district under the
R-15 zone district such that all area and bulk requirements of
R-15 shall apply in the R-15-A zone district.
Section 3
If any section, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this
ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed
a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof.
