ORDINANCE NO. 62

~N ORDINANCE RECOGNIZING A TRANSFER FROM THE TRANSPORTATION FUND
IN THE ~40UNT OF $208,000.00 AND ~KING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRI-
ATION OF $208,000.00. FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUS TRANSIT EXPENDITURES
IN THE TRANSIT FUND
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are avail-
able for appropriation transfers in excess of those estimated in
the budget; and
~EREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues
and expenditures must be recognized and approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are avail-
able for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in
the budget, the City Council hereby makes a supplemental appropri-
ation of a transfer from the Transportation Fund in the amount of
$208,000.00 for the purpose of bus transit expenditures in the
Transit Fund.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or' unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
Section 3
That a public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
9th day of October , 1979, at 5:00 P.M. in the City Council
Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by law by
the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, at its regular
meeting held at the City of Aspen on September 25, 1979 ,
