ORDINANCE NO. 67
(Series of 1979)
AN ORDINANCE MAKING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF
$523,345.00 FROM PRIOR YEAR SURPLUSES IN THE WATER FUND,
RECOGNIZING A TRANSFER TO THE LAND AND OPEN SPACE FUND IN THE
AMOUNT OF $316,365.00 AND A TRANSFER TO THE GOLF COURSE FUND IN
THE AMOUNT OF $101,480.00, APPROPRIATING WATER FUND EXPENDITURES
IN THE AMOUNT OF $105,500.00
WHEREAS, the City Manager has certified that there are avail-
able for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in
the budget; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is advised that certain revenues,
transfers, and expenditures must be recognized and approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~{E
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
Upon the City Manager's certification that there are
available for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated
in the budget, the City Council hereby makes a supplemental
appropriation of prior year unanticipated surplus in the amount of
$523,345.00, a transfer to the Land and Open Space Fund in the
amount of $316,365.00, a transfer to the Golf Course Fund in the
amount of $101,480.00, and appropriating Water Fund expenditures
for the purpose of the completion of the Aspen Mountain Tank in
the amount of $101,500.00 and other Water
amount of $4,000.00.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence,

clause, phrase or por-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.

Section 3
That a public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the
9th day of October , 1979, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
INTRODUCED, READ AND ORDERED published as provided by law by
the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado, at its regular
meeting held at the City of Aspen on September 25th ,
1979.
