AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 24-3.2, 24-3.4 ~D 24-4.6
OF THE ASPEN MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING FOR PERMITTED
USES, MINIMUM LOT AREA PER DWELLING UNIT AND RESIDENTIAL USES IN
THE L-1 ZONE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Aspen, Colorado,
desires to amend Sections 24-3.2, 24-3.4 and 24-4.6 of the Aspen
Municipal Code to provide for new permitted uses, minimum lot area
per dwelling unit and residential uses in the L-1 zone district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY ~{E CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That Section 24-3.2 of the Aspen Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read:
District: Lodge-One, L-1
Permitted Uses: Lodge units, boarding houses; hotel, dining
room, laundry and recreation facilities for guests only,
multi-family residences, single-family and duplex residences
Conditional Uses: Restaurant
Section 2
That Section 24-3.4 of the Aspen Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read:
Minimum lot area per dwelling unit (square feet unless desig-
nated in acres)
L-l, L-2: R - Same as R/MF
Section 3
That Section

Zone: L-1
Lodge Uses:
24-4.6 of the Aspen Municipal Code is hereby

If any section,

ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tion of this
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining por-
tions thereof.
Section 5
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the /~
day of ~-~~ , 1979, at 5:00 P.M. in
the City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado, 15
days prior to which hearing notice of the same shall be published
once in a newspaper of general circulation within the City of
Aspen.
