ORDINANCE NO. ~
(Series of 1980)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 15, SERIES OF
1979, PROVIDING FOR A TOWING FEE OF $20.00 FOR ANY VEHICLE
IMPOUNDED UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF SECTION 22-20 OF THE MODEL
TRAFFIC CODE FOR COLORADO MUNICIPALITIES
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 15, Series of 1979, by increasing the towing fee
from $15.00 to $20.00 for impounded vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 15, Series of 1979, is hereby
repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
That the City of Aspen charge a vehicle storage fee of $4.00
per day and a towing fee of $20.00 for any vehicle impounded under
the authority of Section 22-20 of
Colorado Municipalities.
Section 2
If any section, subsection,
the Model Traffic Code for
sentence, clause, phrase or pot-
tion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconsti-
tutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining pot-
tions thereof.
Section 3
A public hearing on the ordinance shall be held on the //~

City Council Chambers, Aspen City Hall, Aspen, Colorado.
