AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING A PURCHASE, SALE, ~D OPTION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ASPEN AND JANICE CHAPMAN
PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF UNIT ~ OF CHAPMAN
CONDOMINIUM BY THE CITY OF ASPEN TO JANICE CHAPMAN
WHEREAS there has been submitted to the City Council a
proposed Purchase, Sale, and Option Agreement between the City
Aspen and Janice Chapman, and
WHEREAS, the Home Rule Charter of the City of Aspen,
requires that all such agreements must be approved by

NOW,
of
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ASPEN, COLORADO:
Section 1
That it does ratify a Purchase, Sale~ and Option Agreement
between the City of Aspen and Janice Chapman attached hereto and
incorporated by this reference; and does further authorize the
Mayor on the effective date of this ordinance, to execute said
Purchase, Sale, and Option Agreement and all other documents
necessary to complete said sale on behalf of the City of Aspen.
Section 2
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or
portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions thereof.
